What You Need to Know about Alcohol Policy

Published by Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), this brochure briefly describes what alcohol policy is, who does it, what works, and what are the most common misconceptions about alcohol issues that relate to policy making. The brochure has the objective of raising awareness among public health officials, policy makers, scientists and the public in general about the negative impact of alcohol consumption, how it can be effectively reduced and how PAHO can help Member countries. The brochure is also available in Spanish and Portuguese.
