Smoking in the Workplace
Most white-collar employees in the United States are covered by policies providing a smoke-free workplace. But in one major employment sector — food preparation and service — less than half of the workers enjoy smoke-free air on the job. These are the findings of a new study co-authored by Robert Wood Johnson Foundation senior program officer Karen Gerlach, Ph.D., M.P.H. Details on the study can be found on the RWJF Web site in a special report.
