Promising Strategies: Results of the Fourth National Survey on Community Efforts to Reduce Substance Abuse and Gun Violence
All across America, people are joining together in coalitions to prevent, treat, and reduce the harms from substance abuse and gun violence. More than 4,000 people responded to Join Together's fourth national survey, providing information about their organizations, activities, and policy preferences. Six key findings emerged from the survey, based on the analysis of 1,608 lead coalition respondents. This booklet discusses these findings and provides tips on how communities can use local data in their efforts to reduce substance abuse and gun violence.
