Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs
This Information Brief describes the results of a recent study that concludes that state sponsored prescription drug monitoring programs are effective at reducing the per capita supply of prescription pain relievers and stimulants and, in turn, reduce the probability of abuse for these drugs.
