Partners in Prevention: State Alcohol Agencies' Approach to Underage Drinking Prevention

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) received funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), to develop a manual to assist Alcohol Beverage Control agencies in identifying opportunities and implementing initiatives to reduce underage drinking.

To illustrate several efforts and strategies, the PLCB used a model community approach to demonstrate the role that an Alcohol Beverage Control agency can play in assisting community and university collaborative efforts to reduce dangerous and underage drinking.
