Fighting Back on Budget Cuts

The toolkit features how-to information on budget research and analysis, understanding state and local budget processes, developing an alternative budget, media messaging, organizing and more. The kit will help groups understand the economic context in which budget cuts are taking place, and develop strategic plans for approaching this issue.

While created for tobacco control programs, the information is relevant to any community-based advocacy organization that is struggling with how to respond to a budget crisis.
