The National Mentoring Center
The National Mentoring Center (NMC) is a national training and technical assistance provider for youth mentoring programs and initiatives. The NMC offers training, resources, and online information services to the entire mentoring field -- federal agencies, state mentoring partnerships, and a variety of local and regional clients. Services include:
- Staff training and capacity-building workshops.
- Large-scale conferences and multi-track training events.
- Development of mentor training materials, policy and procedure manuals, and other program resources.
- Consultation on new program design and implementation.
- Evaluation of program outcomes and impact.
- Distance learning opportunities.
