The Women's Health: Addiction, Trauma & HOPE conference will be held on October 4-5, 2007 at The Westin in Princeton, New Jersey.

Nationally known keynote and workshop speakers will address the best practices, clinical information and current research relative to various gender related trauma for women in addiction. These issues include domestic violence, mood disorders, eating disorders and co-occurring disorders.

In addition, experts will discuss the damage to the brain resulting from prenatal exposure to noxious substances.

The screening criteria for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders and the primary and secondary disabilities that often accompany FASD throughout the lifespan will be presented.

For details and registration information, see the conference brochure. For additional questions about the conference, contact Linda Sheridan.
