The University of Nevada, Reno Center for the Application of Substance Abuse Technologies (CASAT) is hosting the 2nd Annual Women's Alliance to Strengthen Treatment Access and Retention (WASTAR) Conference.

This conference, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Health Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (HHS-SAMHSA) Grant #PA-06-001, will be held at the Montbleu Resort in Lake Tahoe, Nevada on September 17-18, 2007.

This two-day women's conference in substance abuse treatment will be focused on four main topic areas:

  • Assessment & Engagement
  • Treatment & Evidence-based Practices
  • Recovery
  • Filling in the Gaps: Meeting Client Needs
