The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), within the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), is currently conducting a search for candidates to fill the positions of  Director, Office of Applied Studies (OAS) position, and the Director, Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) position.  

They are open to all potential applicants, within and outside the Federal Government, and the positions may be filled through Senior Executive Service (SES) appointments or through the Commissioned Corps system.  We want to ensure that our search efforts result in a strong and diverse applicant pool which includes individuals who would welcome such a challenging and rewarding management position.

Applications for the Director of OAS position must be received by midnight (Eastern Standard Time) on Monday, July 2, 2007. Applications  for the Director of CSAP position must be received by midnight (Eastern Standard Time) on Tuesday, July 3, 2007.
