Website Information
Many people are unaware that alcoholism is a disease. They are unaware of how treatment for alcoholism works . . . or even unaware that there is treatment. During the month of April which has been set aside as "Alcohol Awareness Month" Mid-America ATTC is offering a faith community bulletin or newsletter insert sheet that can be downloaded free by churches, temples, mosques and other faith groups.
This 5 1/2" X 8 1/2 " double-sided informational sheet provides:
- current facts from research about the number of persons struggling with alcoholism
- effectiveness of evidence-based treatment
- what persons can do to become more informed about this disease
- what persons can do to help others suffering from alcoholism
- what faith communities can do to provide support services
Read Mid-America ATTC's Faith and Alcohol Awareness Bulletin insert for more information.
