On June 19, over 100 golfers raised $20,000 for First Step Home, a residential substance use treatment program for women and their children, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported on July 3.

The 11th Annual First Step Home Charity Golf Outing, presented by Check 'n Go and held at the Western Hills Country Club, benefited the programs at First Step's two Ohio facilities, Walnut Hills and Price Hill.

The tournament winners were four local residents teaming up from Prospect House, a Cincinnati residential treatment program.
