E-Philanthropy solutions, which help nonprofit organizations develop websites that can be used to collect donations and attract volunteers, are becoming more accessible, Guidestar reported in its July 2004 newsletter.For a fixed price, sites such as Charity Finder are making the development of charity website with built in e-philanthropy a more feasible solution. Other sites, such as NPower and HelpForCharities, provide similar solutions.
A robust website allows visitors to join or renew memberships, donate funds, make referrals, give feedback, sign petitions, and increase advocacy, greatly increasing membership and desirability.
