FY2010 AmeriCorps State and National Grants

Funding Opportunity

The Corporation for National and Community Service has announced that it is accepting applications for the FY2010 AmeriCorps State and National Grants.

Grants will be made in the following categories: State Commission and National Competitive including Professional Corps and Fixed-Amount Grants; State and National EAP; States and Territories without Commissions; and Indian Tribes. Program priorities for 2010 include addressing unmet needs in the areas of education, housing, veterans, economic opportunity, clean energy and environment, and health (including access to health care, disease prevention and health promotion initiatives, and health literacy).

Up to $363 million may be available for new, re-competing, and continuation grants. Governments, schools, nonprofits and others may apply for funding.
