Applications are now being accepted for Collaborative R01s for Clinical and Services Studies of Mental Disorders, AIDS and Alcohol Use Disorders, research grants funded by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) and the National Institute on Mental Health (NIMH).

Grants will be made to "collaborative intervention trials in the treatment, prevention or rehabilitation of those with mental disorders and alcohol use disorders and comorbid mental disorders," according to the grant announcement. "Support is also provided for other collaborative clinical studies, including but not limited to mental health services research, AIDS, genetics, psychopathology, stigma, and cultural and social processes."

Nonprofits, schools, government entities, for-profit companies and others may apply. Applications are being accepted through May 7, 2012. For more details, see the full grant announcement online.
