Funding Opportunity

Community and political organizers seeking to pass medical-marijuana laws in the states of Delaware, Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Tennessee can apply for funding from the Marijuana Policy Project (MPP).

MPP will award grants of up to $60,000 to one organizer from each state, who will be responsible for building a statewide coalition to support medical-marijuana legislation. Funding will cover salary and expenses. Applicants should have prior experience in community organizing.

Application deadlines are Jan. 1, 2009 and May 1, 2009. For more details, see the MPP website.
