Funding Opportunity
Grants to prevent HIV/AIDS among high-risk populations, including Native Americans and African-American and Hispanic women, will be awarded by the U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
A total of $530,000 in grants will be awarded, including three $60,000 grants for Native Americans and five $70,000 grants for high-risk women. The one-year grants are considered seed money for innovative projects.
Applicants may include nonprofits, local health departments, and tribal organizations.
Application deadline is Feb. 26.
