Funding Opportunity
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is now accepting applications for its Science to Service Awards, which honor community-based prevention and treatment organizations that have done an outstanding job of implementing evidence-based addiction and mental-health interventions.
Up to three awards will be made in each of four categories: substance-abuse prevention, treatment of substance-abuse and recovery-support services, mental-health promotion, and treatment of mental illness and recovery-support services. Applicants will be judged on the basis of community need, sustainability, implementation, and results.
Application deadline is Feb. 28, 2007.
