The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) will award research grants of up to $200,000 under its Alcohol Use Disorders: Treatment, Services Research, and Recovery program.

In addition to the R21 grants above, funding also will be awarded under the R01 and R03 research protocols.

The grants will fund "innovative approaches to research on: behavioral and pharmacological treatment for alcohol use disorders; organizational, financial, and management factors that facilitate or inhibit the delivery of services for alcohol use disorders; and/or on the phenomenon of recovery from alcohol use disorders."

Eligible applicants include nonprofits, governments, for-profit businesses, tribes, schools, and public-housing agencies.

There are multiple application deadlines for this award; see the full grant announcement for details.
