Community groups working in the North Country region of New England may apply for grants from the Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund, a donor-advised fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.

Grants will go to nonprofits and community-based organizations working in the areas of education, economic development, conservation, and providing for basic needs of residents of Dixville, N.H., and surrounding towns in New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and Quebec.

Application deadlines are Oct. 1, 2007 and April 1, 2008. Grants of up to $100,000 each will be awarded out of total funding of $3 million.
