The Mattel Children's Foundation will make grants of up to $20,000 to groups that promote mental and physical health among poor children, as well as nonprofits that increase educational access empower girls under age 12.

U.S. based nonprofits that directly serve poor children under age 12, and have an operating budget under $1 million, may apply. Application deadline is June 15.
