Funding Opportunity

The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) will award research grants under the R21 and R01 protocols for studies on preventing HIV/AIDS among alcohol users.

Grants of up to $200,000 each will be awarded to "organizations that propose to integrate basic behavioral research and intervention research for the prevention of alcohol-related HIV/AIDS risk." Nonprofits, schools, government agencies, for-profit firms, housing authorities, tribes and others may apply for funding.
