Funding Opportunity

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) will award grants under its R03 research-grants mechanism to support broad-based study of inhalant abuse.

The grants "encourage research on all aspects of inhalant abuse (i.e., epidemiology; prevention, treatment and service delivery; antecedents, consequences and neurobiological mechanisms)." NIDA is particularly interested in research focusing on adolescent inhalant abuse.

Grants of up to $50,000 will be awarded to government agencies, nonprofits, schools, for-profit companies, and others.

Application deadlines vary. For more details, see the full grant announcement online.
