Funding Opportunity

On Feb. 15, the Organizer's Collaborative (OC), a Boston, Mass.-based nonprofit group, will release the first version of its Organizers Database (ODB) tool for nonprofits.

Developed over four years with input from over 100 community organizations, this free program seeks to help small nonprofits by giving them a way to track members, prospects and donors with software designed specifically for the needs of smaller organizations. The OC claims the 350-plus organizations already using the software have increased donations by over $1 million.

ODB 1.0 is a fully independent open-source application for Windows, with networking capabilities for up to 15 computers, and cross-platform compatibility slated for release in the fall. The Windows version is available for download online.
