Funding Opportunity
A total of $4 million in research grants focusing on fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) will be awarded by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA).
The Collaborative Initiative on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (CIFASD) is an existing group of domestic and international projects intended to improve research on FASD clinical-care recognition, interventions, and prevention. The new grants will further this work by establishing new collaborations with CIFASD members.
Application deadline is Jan. 23, 2007.
Eligible applicants include nonprofits, for-profits, schools, government agencies, and foreign institutions.
