The Cigna Foundation is soliciting applications from nonprofit organizations for programs in a variety of areas, including community and civic affairs, education, health and human services, and culture and the arts. Projects involving women's health and domestic violence will be given priority.

Interested parties should prepare a one- to two-page summary of their request with program objectives, a description of the organization, a copy of the organization's most recent audited financial statement, and suggested methods of evaluation of the requested program.

Individuals and faith-based and political organizations are barred from applying. Organizations must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.
