The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is currently accepting applications from groups interested in running conferences that increase knowledge of addiction treatment and prevention.SAMHSA's Knowledge Dissemination Conference Grants are intended to "disseminate knowledge about practices within the mental health services and substance abuse prevention and treatment fields and to integrate that knowledge into real-world practice as effectively and efficiently as possible."
No total or individual award amounts have been set.
Applications are due Jan. 31. 2006. Governments, schools, and nonprofits may apply.
