Funding Opportunity

The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) along with the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), is calling for applications to research structural interventions to reduce HIV/AIDS transmission by "changing the environment of alcohol use."

Any for-profit and nonprofit organizations, governments, religious groups, and individuals capable of building and implementing the programs to the desired result are eligible to apply for this grant.

There is no application deadline for this award. Both amount and duration of funding will be determined by the need and scientific merit of the project. For more information on grant application and guidelines, read the full announcement online.
