Continuing Education Credits
This training is approved by NAADAC, The Association of Addiction Professionals (Provider # 454). CEUs provided through this program will be accepted toward national credentialing by the NAADAC Certification Commission and also by many of the individual state licensing/certification bodies.
1. CREDIT DESIGNATION AND COURSE REQUIREMENTSThis program has been designated for a maximum of
2.0 CEUs (1.0 CEU for each half of the main presentation) representing approximately
four total hours of contact time.
Total contact time includes the following activities expected of each student claiming CEU credit:
- Reading the Objectives and Disclosures Statement detailing the target audiences, learning objectives, and disclosures.
- Viewing the main presentation, Part 1 and Part 2, for an overview of the material presented in a logical flow.
- Reviewing and studying slides from the main presentation as needed to understand the material and pass the knowledge tests. You should expect to spend more time reviewing and studying as you do first viewing the presentations from start-to-finish.
- Viewing the case studies presentation to learn how this information can apply to real-world clinical situations.
- Reviewing the resources list and patient education materials.
- Taking two knowledge tests (see below).
- Completing the Course Evaluation Survey. To assist us in evaluating the effectiveness of this activity and selecting future educational offerings, please take a few minutes to complete this evaluation form.
2. KNOWLEDGE TESTS AND COMPLETION CERTIFICATESThe two knowledge tests cover content from Part 1 and Part 2 of the main presentation, respectively. These tests must be passed with 70% or more correct answers in order to download your participation certificates.
