Improving the Quality of Drug and Alcohol Treatment
Join Together and NIDA created this action kit to help communities break the cycle of poor outcomes and misperceptions about substance use disorders. It includes strategies for guiding the work of a quality treatment task force, descriptions of the phases of treatment, background information on treatment interventions, and a worksheet that can be used to gauge how well a community addresses NIDA's "Principles of Drug Addiction Treatment."
